My story starts as a high school entrepreneur: Through a special charity project, I was able to leverage an initial seed donation and my existing customer base to triple the amount donated to building a clean-water well in Uganda. It was that experience that truly sparked my interest in the intersection of business & social impact.
This passion is what led me to the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where I pursued both Finance & Marketing along with Civic Scholars certification. In order to bolster my quantitative skills, I worked for over 2 years in investment banking before I decided to pursue a career in the social impact industry.
In 2016, I joined the team at Catapult Ideas, a startup incubator for high school entrepreneurs. From the outside in, it was a "career transition" or a "job change." But from my perspective, this was just my story coming full circle.
